Amazon has come under fire by China Labor Watch over conditions at factories that produce their Kindle and Echo products. The report cites illegal numbers of temporary workers as well as under paid and overworked staff. The workers' housing was also cited for not having emergency exits and filthy living conditions. The average day worker makes $2.26 an hour. 

In more China news, there are reports that Chinese hackers stole classified information from a US Navy contractor on submarine warfare, including plans for a supersonic anti ship missle. It is believed that this theft will help China keep up with US military.

Facebook had yet another privacy problem, this time accidentally making 14 million private posts public. Yet another bad PR move from the site who is still struggling to regain the world’s trust.
